Is Your Teen Huffing?

This is so serious and so scary! When I was younger I remember hearing about this, mainly the whipped cream cans, they called it doing whip-its. It has been a long time since I thought about this potential danger.  Then this article came past me about a young boy around my son’s age and my eyes opened wide as I read what happened and all the statistics about this going on right now. I am hoping this very important article will open many parents eyes as mine were recently opened. Please take time to read this important article, share with a friend we really need to protect our kids and remind parents that this danger is out there, never went away. We need to keep our eyes open and tell everyone we know that this going on right now!

Take the time please and read about this http://www.examiner.com/x-33498-Long-Island-Parenting-Teens-Examiner~y2010m4d13-Is-Your-Teen-Huffing

  4. You are the watchful eyes and warm heart for so many teenagers. It is amazing that anyone makes it to their 21st birthday. Thank you for sharing these articles and information with us even if it is scary. Parents need to be aware and ready to guide our kids. Though they may seem like mini adults, teenage brains, according to doctors and researchers, are not fully wired. Teens literally don’t think straight. Decisions which seem so obvious to us are not psychologically possible for them. We appreciate all you do and wish that your parenting was easier. No one needs to repeatedly visit the emergency room. Take care.

  7. Thanks for yet educating me on another thing to worry about with my boys! I actually thought it meant reading The Huffington Post too much which, to me, is almost as bad given their horribly biased reportage.

The truth is we have to be 24/7 parents as Robert Kennedy said in his blog on this. And, the truth is we CANNOT trust our institutions any more as the media, movies, schools, and government all try to brainwash and/or take over parenting our kids.

I think it is harder raising kids today. Period.

  8. Thank you for posting about this. This is such a dangerous thing that our young adolescents are doing and its by sharing the information that you do that lives are saved and more people are made aware of the dangers.

    Thanks!
