In this book we meet Molly a very sweet girl and her two friends Jes and Sara. In this book they decide they want to get a job in a clothing store in the mall that sells clothes they like. As time goes on Molly is placed in a situation involving stealing and peer pressure. What does Molly do? Does she give into her friends pressure or does she do the right thing. How about the scenario of walking into a store and seeing a $20 bill upon entering. Do you pick it up and put it in your pocket? Do you find a service person and ask them for help? Ummmmm…….another scenario
Sara Broers´s last blog ..I think I’ll keep this guy around!
Good one, Sara!
Thanks, Cindy!!!
I really like the idea behind this one… stealing and peer pressure are sooo big in teens right now… what a fabulous idea, to write books using these scenarios that are so prevelant among teens today!!!
Lets see… a scenario, hmm…..Going to prom and your date wants to do more than you want to do…. but you really like him, but you are a strong woman and wont do it!! LOL! I dont know.. that was what popped into my mind when i thought of teens these days

i have seen teens be amazingly honest and the reverse – training is a biggy
I think it’s great that Nicole is writing for teens about stealing. There are a lot of scenarios that teens face regarding stealing and then later as adults.
A different topic to consider:
Scenario 1: If you know your friend’s boyfriend is cheating on her, would you tell her?
Scenario 2: If you know your friend is cheating on her boyfriend, would you tell him?
Why might you feel different about each scenario? Is it your loyalty to your friend vs. what is right and wrong?
Great thoughts, everyone! Lots to consider.
I think loyalty is a big reason that teens succumb to peer pressure. They think it’s important to be loyal to the end. They just don’t realize that there are only certain people who deserve that level of allegiance. God and (usually) family.
